FREI AUDIO is the first address in the south of Austria for audio postproduction. When it comes to film sound, sound design, foley, music production and voice recordings, then you are at the right place.
Over the past 25 years, successful cinema productions and television features, commercials, image videos and industrial films, compositions, voice recordings and audio books have been created on our premises. In 2023 we were awarded the Austrian Film Award in the category “best sound” for the film “Rubikon” by Leni Lauritsch.
Our studio is located in the center of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, the capital of Carinthia. We are equipped for Dolby Atmos mixing and have the latest technology for audio postproduction.
Under our label Frei Audio Records we publish music productions of artists who are close to our hearts.
Our team consists of people who love good sound. With enthusiasm and boundless creativity, we work every day for the best-sounding film, TV and media projects.

Services

Recording

Our control and recording rooms are acoustically perfectly designed. With the help of the best technology and in a relaxed atmosphere, we create voice, sound and music recordings for your production with the utmost care.

Sound design & Foleys

Sound FX, atmospheres, ADR, sound editing, dialog edit, picture-synchronized sound recordings - with a large sound archive, effects and creativity, we produce the soundtrack to engaging TV and cinema productions.

Narration & Dialogue

Our directory contains regional, national and international voices. We cast, organize and book voice actors for your project.

Sound Mixing

We mix for cinema, TV, and streaming. And of course for radio, CD and Blu-Ray. High-end formats such as Dolby Atmos are just as much a matter for us as stereo mixes for radio and TV advertising.

Live Sound

Events, concerts, musicals - for more than 25 years we have been a reliable and competent partner for the planning and realization of sound reinforcement projects and live recording.

Almost exemplary is the constant development of the studio and also the person Andreas Frei to be at the best possible status in technology, quality and efficiency. As nature filmmakers we have to change and adapt plans very often.
